Not much happening around here

Sorry I've been AWOL but I cleaned my sewing room and now don't want to go in and mess it up!  Hoping to get some sewing done this the end of this week since I'm going to be home and not able to go anywhere.  I'll keep you updated.

Christmas Gifts

UPDATED!!
Well as promised here is a list of what I made as Christmas gifts, unfortunately I forgot to

take pictures of some of them so I'll have to post them when I can get pictures taken.

First I made a quilt for my mom and stepdad and sent it to Florida,

this isn't the best picture but it gives you the basic idea.  My son-in-law the photographer

has the best pictures so I  need to get them from him took this picture.

Then I made covers for the neighbor, she bought a couple of those circle chairs that are

so popular right now

Will insert picture when I get it!!

Then I made casserole carriers for my stepmom and 2 sister-in-laws

 

I still can't believe I forgot to take the pictures before I gave them out, but I'm

notorious for doing this!!  I need to get better at taking pictures.

I know I didn't get to post that I was participating but I did get signed up

Friday afternoon that I was planning on sewing.  Oh boy did I get to sew!!

I can't post any pictures because all my sewing was for Christmas gifts.  I'll get

pictures posted next week after everyone gets to open their gifts.

Another special order

A friend was trying to figure out what to get someone for Christmas and I was telling

her about the embroidered bath towels I do and she placed this order

They turned out very nice, I'm pleased.

Update

Well I have busily working on Christmas gifts so nothing new to show right now.  But after

Christmas I will have lots of pictures to add.

FNSI Results

Well here is what I got finished, I'm happy with my results!!

I did a birth announcement blanket for my cousin's granddaughter and finished

my new purse and made a wallet.  The wallet took me the longest, I didn't

have a pattern but was going from several photos that I printed off the internet and

constructed one of my own.  When I have time I'm going to re-do it and correct

some of the things I'm not quite happy with, but all in all I'm happy with

what I got accomplished.

Friday Night Sew In

Well it's that time again, I can hardly believe it's been a month since the last one,

Yep you guessed it, FNSI is tomorrow night!!  I'm excited, so many projects,

which one, two, or three to pick to do tomorrow night.
